Technical tour - September 9

Three technical tours have been arranged at the end of the AgEng 2010 Conference.
Join these tours and don't miss the chance to visit various places of technical interest giving insight into the level of science and technology employed in Auvergne.

Registration has to be made before the 15th of August. A minimum of 40 participants by tour is required.

Cemagref Montoldre
With experimental platforms which are unique in Europe and a farm of 100 hectares, the Cemagref Experimental Site is the right place for agricultural scientific and technical innovations.
On this site, Cemagref leads researches about environmental assessment, environmental spreading technologies  and information technology.

Inra
First Agronomic Research Institute in Europe, the Inra develops researches, in connection with society's expectations, in the sectors of agriculture, environment and food science. You will visit one of the center which deals with the animal production technology.

Centre de réalité virtuelle
The 15th most important reality center in the world is an impressive, high-tech environment capable of providing useful design review services to different areas such the health field, engineering, aeronautics, sustainable development, etc.

Ferme Bellonte
In the heart of volcanoes, in a small village, discover this traditional and familial farm which makes one of the most famous cheese from Auvergne: the Saint-Nectaire.

Circuit Pavin
The research laboratory LASMEA  works on intelligent Vehicles, at the national or European levels, or with large companies as Renault, PSA, Daimler Benz, etc.
Discover the new  platform used to test among others auto-guidance and location systems.

and Aventure Michelin
The tour consists of 9 spaces with different contents and styles where you will discover all the history of this company which manufactures and sells tires for all kinds of vehicles, publishes maps and guides and operates a number of digital services in more than 170 countries.
